Two fishermen brothers from Exeter are celebrating as one of their boats landed the biggest grossing catch in the history of Brixham port. The huge catch of 7.5 tonnes of valuable Dover Sole was sold at Brixham Fish auction for £125,630.

As part of our continuing commitment to supporting the community, at Greendale we are delighted to be working with two important local charities; Exmouth Gateway and Jay’s AIM.

Did you know that an estimated 20 to 40% of UK fruit and vegetables are rejected before they even reach the shops! At Greendale Farm Shop we don't believe there is anything wrong with wonky fruit and vegetables and stock all shapes and sizes. So take some imperfectly perfect fruit and veggies home (in one of our reusable organic net bags) and simply peel or chop the parts you don't want to eat but use the rest and keep food waste to a minimum.

Ian and the Bakery team are pleased to announce that they can now slice any of their fresh loaves! Simply choose your loaf, then ask at the Bakery counter. Pre-sliced bread is also available to buy on our website.

Based just outside Exeter, Paul and his family have been growing delicious strawberries for decades.

Many of our vegetables are grown just a few miles from Greendale Farm Shop. Mike, pictured above, has been farming locally for over 40 years, hand-picking his fantastic fresh veg for Greendale Farm Shop.

For the third and final film in our series, we travel the short distance from the butchers at Greendale Farm Shop to The Salutation Inn in nearby Topsham. Here, we meet Chef Tom Williams-Hawkes just after taking delivery of his Greendale beef order, and watch as he prepares two delicious dishes to serve in the Salutation’s award-winning restaurant.
